Engineering a Dual-Sided Mobile Ecosystem for India's On-Demand Manpower Market
On-Demand Services & Manpower Tech
Case study breakdown
The summary
Trider is an on-demand manpower services platform serving both individuals and businesses across India. The platform enables instant booking of a wide spectrum of service professionals - event support staff, bouncers, cater boys, chefs, mehndi artists, heavy lifters, relocation assistants, and more. Customers book through the Trider app, while professionals operate through Trider Squad- a parallel app purpose-built for job acceptance, order tracking, and service delivery management. Together, both apps form a closed-loop ecosystem where trust and quality are built into every interaction.

The challenge
India's local manpower market had always been informal - driven by phone calls, referrals, and unverified networks with no real-time visibility, no structured booking flow, and no accountability once a service was confirmed. Trider needed to solve this problem from both ends simultaneously. On the customer side, the app had to offer a seamless discovery and booking experience across diverse service categories - with live tracking and secure payment flows. On the professional side, Trider Squad had to give skilled workers a reliable, intuitive tool to accept jobs, manage assignments, and track their earnings - without a steep learning curve. Both apps needed to be cross-platform, performant, and backed by an admin layer that gave the Trider operations team complete control over providers, bookings, and service quality in real time.

The Solution
CoderVu engineered both apps using Flutter, enabling a single codebase to deliver native-quality experiences on Android and iOS simultaneously - reducing build time while keeping the UX consistent across both platforms. The Trider customer app was built around a clean booking flow: browse service categories, book in a few taps, track the provider live, and manage history - all within a trust-first interface. Trider Squad, the provider-side app, was optimised for speed - instant job notifications, one-tap acceptance, direct customer communication, and seamless order management. The Laravel backend handled provider onboarding, booking assignment logic, real-time status sync across both apps, OTP-secured login, and full data encryption. A dedicated admin panel gave the Trider team complete operational control - managing providers, categories, and bookings independently, without any developer dependency.
“What CoderVu built for us is not just two apps - it's an entire operating system for our business. The customer app, the squad app, and the admin panel all work in perfect sync. It's given us the confidence to scale." - Founder, Trider”
The outcome
Trider launched with two fully functional, live mobile apps - rated 4.6 and 5.0 respectively on the Google Play Store - and a backend infrastructure capable of scaling as the provider network and booking volume grew. The Flutter architecture eliminated platform fragmentation, letting the team maintain and iterate on one unified codebase rather than two separate stacks. Real-time job assignment and live tracking created a level of reliability that the informal market had never offered, directly building user trust from day one. The Trider operations team gained complete autonomous control over the platform through the admin panel, enabling them to onboard new providers, manage categories, and expand to new cities without any technical dependency.
